Optimal timing of rest perfusion with regadenoson stress testing - normal volunteer study of quantitative MRI perfusion
نویسندگان
چکیده
Methods Seventeen healthy normal volunteers with Framingham score less than 1% underwent vasodilator stress testing with regadenoson using a SSFP sequence. Rest imaging (Rest 1) was performed initially. Twenty minutes later, regadenoson 400mcg was administered as a 10 second injection with saline flush. Stress imaging was done 70 seconds after the injection. All volunteers received aminophylline 100mg. A second rest perfusion (Rest 2) imaging was done 20 minutes later. Myocardial blood flow (MBF) in ml/min/g and myocardial perfusion reserve (MPR) were quantified using a fully quantitative model constrained deconvolution (MCD).

Initial description of changes in wall motion parameters in normal subjects undergoing rest/regadenoson stress using a tagged MRI sequence
Background Changes in global and regional wall motion between rest and stress are important prognostic markers, uncommonly observed with vasodilator stress radionuclide myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI). Cardiac MRI (CMR) with tagging has the potential to more precisely quantify normal and abnormal ventricular wall motion responses. We herein report CMR findings in 5 very low-likelihood patien...
متن کاملRegadenoson versus dipyridamole hyperemia for cardiac PET imaging.
OBJECTIVES The goal of this study was to compare regadenoson and dipyridamole hyperemia for quantitative myocardial perfusion imaging. BACKGROUND Regadenoson is commonly used for stress perfusion imaging. However, no study in nuclear cardiology has employed a paired design to compare quantitative hyperemic flow from regadenoson to more traditional agents such as dipyridamole. Additionally, th...
متن کاملRegadenoson is a better myocardial vasodilator than dipyridamole in normal volunteers, but the data is less compelling in patients
Methods Forty patients with normal coronaries/minimal stenosis on coronary CT angiography had also undergone vasodilator stress MR (regadenoson n=20, dipyridamole n=20). Seventeen healthy normal volunteers with Framingham score less than 1% underwent vasodilator stress testing with regadenoson and dipyridamole in two separate studies using a SSFP sequence. Stress imaging was done 70 seconds pos...
متن کاملTwo-day stress-rest lower limbs perfusion scan in patients referred for myocardial perfusion imaging
Introduction: Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) is a major cause of morbidity and is associated with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). We aimed to perform Lower Limb Perfusion Scan (LLPS) in patients referred for Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI) and estimate prevalence of PVD in subgroups with normal and abnormal MPI results. We also compared quantitative indices of LLPS in pati...
